12 legs in the bed!

Lately, we have had 12 legs in our bed. That is waaaaay too many legs going every which direction!!! Buddy has decided that he should sleep on the bed too. (Zoe is a non-negotiable). The problem is, even if one or the other start on the floor, they will just come right up like they own the place when we fall asleep. The bigger problem is, Matt and I both really like having our pups snuggle with us! However, last night, I found myself tossing and turning and trying to fall asleep in the tiny corner of our king-size bed that's apparently reserved for me. That is when I started counting exactly how many legs were in our bed...right about the time that I was still awake because one of Buddy's legs was on top of me and the other one was in my side. Don't worry, we won't have the problem of our children sleeping in bed with us someday...there's no more room! (haha).

Gosh, how can you resist those sad eyes when you tell them it's "time to get down"! We're not talking Matt's eyes here...

Always enjoy your blog Whitney!

Love,
Stalker Mom ;o)

You are not alone. We start out with good intentions every night, placing the dogs on their beds, placed so nice and cozy next to ours. But by morning, there are 12 legs in our bed, too. 4 of them which HAVE to be horizontal to every other limb and part in the bed...kicking until she's totally comfy. And as soon as Josh gets out of bed in the morning, she'll stretch a bit, then plop down right in his spot, on top of the pillow...but...we LOVE IT. :)
